VERATIE<\/strong> (pronounced veh-ruh-tee) are an alt-rock \/ nu-metal band, based in Southeast Queensland.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Formed in 2021 by lead singer-songwriter Sarah and guitarist-beatmaker Connor, VERATIE overlays evocative melodic and rap vocals over an intricate soundscape of synth, heavy guitars, and relentless rhythm. They have already supported names such as The Halo Effect<\/strong> (Europe), Beyond the Black<\/strong> (Europe), Redhook<\/strong>, Devilskin<\/strong> (New Zealand), Lagerstein<\/strong>, Krave<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n VERATIE<\/strong> are set to release their second single, Perfect Stranger<\/strong>, on the 11th of November 2024<\/em>, the follow-up to their debut single Ashes<\/em>, which has cracked over 2.5K streams on Spotify. Perfect Stranger<\/strong> is the next step on the band\u2019s journey toward their debut album release, IN\/\/HUMAN<\/strong>.
